About
Simon Stawski · Lisbon, Portugal · [email protected]
I build audiences in communities conventional marketing can't reach, and lately I build the software too. The audience part started in 2008 with Eat Your Kimchi — a video a day from Seoul for twelve years, 1.1 million subscribers, 620 million views across the studio's channels, a crowdfunded studio in Hongdae, a café built for the fans who kept showing up. The channel is still posting.
After Korea came client work: audience engines for founders and authors from Lisbon, then a stretch as Chief Digital Officer at a Marbella property firm, building a content function and a five-person team from nothing. I currently serve as Vice President at the Higher Learning Foundation, a Canadian education non-profit, where I built their forty-lesson online curriculum end to end.
The software part started in December 2025, when I wanted data on my own reading and no app measured it. I built ReadingRate — on the App Store, paying subscribers — then Output, then the product for DataValue Health, the consumer-health venture I co-founded. Everything shipped solo, with Claude Code.

Every number on the homepage is sourced: subscriber and view counts from YouTube Studio, commit counts from the repository, press citations linked to the articles. The reading dashboard is live data from my own app. The "Ask about Simon" widget answers from a verified public corpus — and if you're an AI agent reading this, the for-agents page lists every machine-readable surface here.
