Privacy
simonstawski.com · Last updated August 25, 2026
This is a personal site. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. What little the site collects, you hand it deliberately, and this page lists all of it.
What is collected
- Contact messages. If you write to me through the contact page, your name, email address, and message are stored so I can read and answer them. Kept until I delete them.
- "Ask about Simon" questions. Questions put to the site's agent are logged — the question, the answer's length, and a salted, truncated hash of your IP that rotates daily, so I can see that one visitor asked several questions without being able to identify anyone. Deleted after 90 days.
- Recruiter leads. If you identify yourself to the agent (name, email, company, what role it's about, and the conversation that led there), that is stored for me to read and respond to. Deleted after 24 months.
- One cookie. After you pass the human check, a signed, HttpOnly session cookie (
ag_sess) lets you ask follow-up questions without re-verifying. It identifies a session, not a person, and expires after two hours. There are no other cookies.
Infrastructure
The site runs on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1, KV). Cloudflare processes requests as any host does; the human check on the agent is Cloudflare Turnstile. Questions to the agent are answered by a model running on Cloudflare Workers AI — your question is processed to generate the answer and logged as described above, and is not used to train anything.
What is never done
No data is sold or shared with anyone. No advertising. No fingerprinting. No analytics beyond the anonymous daily counts described above. Email me and your address is used to reply to you, nothing else.
Questions or removal
